When I try to "modprobe ndiswrapper" I get an error

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (lib/modules/2.6.16.13-4-smp/updates/ndiswrapper.ko): Invalid argument

Broadcom 802.11g Wireless card

Rather than start my own thread, I'll just make it known that I have the same problem, and I've tried everything, following multiple tutorials and how-to's.

My card is a Linksys WMP54G, using the broadcom drivers, and I've had no problem using ndiswrapper up until this point.

On #ndiswrapper -l, the driver is shown as present, along with the hardware. #Depmod -a runs fine, but then #modprobe ndiswrapper shows the error message mentioned above.

I really want a fully functioning linux system (I'm runnin FC5 by the way), and a lack of internet is preventing this.

I'm not sure what flavor of Linux you're using, but I stumbled upon this problem in Ubuntu Edgy. If either of you are running this, then the fix can (hopefully ) be found here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=498542 .
