extracting a a driver from an .exe file

I need a driver to set up an ndiswrapper for my laptop, but the driver came with an installer. How do I unpack that and get the driver?

you need to use a utility named cabextract. I think you should be able to apt-get it. then just type "man cabextract" for usage. After you've got the drivers out, just go right back to where you left off in the ndiswrapper documentation.
