i'm trying to program an attack in adhoc networks, i use blackhole in AODV but i got an error while testing "ns blackholeAODV.tcl" as follow:
invalid command name "Agent/rtproto/blackholeAODV"
while executing
"Agent/rtproto/blackholeAODV" instproc init args {
$self next $args
}
(file "blackholeaodv.tcl" line 19)
are there any patch before or it's working directly? if yes, please leave me the link of patch.

Welcome to LQ.
Which version of ns2 ? ns-allinone-2.34 ?
Which OS are you using ? Name, version, architecture, please.
Like CentOS 6 -32bits(i686), Ubuntu 12.04 -32bits, etc.
Which package "blackholeaodv" are you using ? Like blackholeaodv.tar.gz.
Please upload <blackholeaodv.tar.gz> to Google Docs.
And also the "blackholeaodv-manual", please.
... Then I will have a look at it.
( I have a version of blackholeaodv with no rtproto protocol.)
i'm working on Ubuntu 11.04 - 32 bits, the version of NS2 is NS-2.35.
i used a script of blackholeAODV without patching NS2, i think it's the mistake.
this is the package that i used to work with blackholeAODV.tar.gz, link: "http://www.mediafire.com/?vo972acpnfisvoz"

# 5, @ tunerhuei :
$ tar xvf ns-allinone-2.35.tar.gz
$ cd ns-allinone-2.35/
$ tar xvf blackholeaodv2005-ns235-patch.tar.gz
Build example : $ export CC=gcc-4.4 CXX=g++-4.4 && ./install
Actually blackholeaodv2005-ns235-patch.tar.gz is not a real patch,
it's a folder "ns-2.35" containing the edited files.
Anyway, you can always open / read a patch or a "patch-look-alike" package,
to know the destination of the files. Thus knowing how to use "the patch".
