Question Error logs for wireless or networking in general?

I have a RH7.3 computer acting as wireless router.

My problem is that everytime I attempt to connect to the router using winxp on my laptop the wireless card or something.. locks up.
When I boot my laptop back to linux it cannot connect to the router either.

At this stage I have to reboot my router (too lazy to stick a monitor on it i guess) to get the network up and running again.

I have looked through /var/log/messages (on the router) but no errors appear there.

My question is: Are there any other logs relating to networking or possibly useful?
