Dynamode

Hi guys

Having some trouble with a wireless network device. The device in question is a Dynamode 802.11g wireless PCI card.

It works great in Windows XP, however when I boot to Fedora core2 it does not even detect the presence of new hardware. I am obviously a complete newb when it comes to Linux.

If this device is not supported in Linux then no worries I have the receipt and I can take it back. Can anyone recommend ‘g’ card that is supported by both linux and windowsxp?

Cheers D’Mose

You'll probably be fine sticking with that one, you just need to determine the chipset to get you started.
Run
Code:

lspci
as root and you'll see the chipset listed there - hopefully. You can then search for something that will run it - ndiswrapper is always a good start.
Regards
Chris
