Question DWL 650 Suse 9.1

Hi,

Context: Suse 9.1 on a Dell notebook.

Windows: installation of 624 and 650 ok everything works fine
Linux: connecting the PC to the router with the cable: ok but only with DHCP

My installation is done with dgiswrapper using the .inf file in the WinXP directory of the CD delivered with the device.

modprobe dgiswrappwer makes the LED glowing on the wireless PCMCIA card

next, I tried probably everything without success.

iwconfig wlan0 essid any
ifconfig wlan0 up

ifconfig wlan0 shows a normal functionning card but no network !

ideas ?

i would appreciate thanks
Denis
