Drivers for Belkin F5D6020

I have just "finished" my first LFS 6.1 system and added a few extras: a colored prompt, Lynx, cardmgr, and GPM. Now I need to get my wireless card working. The card is a Belkin F5D6020 PCMCIA, also called the Belkin Wireless Notebook Network Card. Under LFS, /var/lib/pcmcia/stab lists it as an unsupported card. However, Knoppix works just fine with it. Where can I find the drivers for this card, and how do I install them? If I have to, I have the Windows driver CD that came with the card.

PS: Running ifconfig, iwconfig, ifup, and ifdown does nothing. Apparently these are not installed? ifup and ifdown are in the /etc/sysconfig/network-devices directory, but not in the path. Where should they be?

Hi,

The ndiswrapper page shows support for the Beldin F5D6020 card:

driver list

And here you can find the installation page for ndiswrapper.

Do NOT use the windows driver(s) that came with the card. I'm talking from experience when I say that that will not work

Hope this helps.
