Running Debian Jessie.
I disconnected my DLink DWA-131 USB wireless adapter to use in another computer and decided to reconnect it to its original computer. Now ifup attempts result in failure. Watching wpa_supplicant debug output, there are several
Code:
Association request to drive failed
messages. The original firmware (firmware-realtek) is still installed and the previous settings are in place again.
When trying
Code:
wpa_supplicant: /sbin/wpa_supplicant daemon failed to start
run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/wpasupplicant exited with return code 1
failed to bring up wlan1
However,
Code:
iwlist wlan1 scanning
works and gets the light blinking again.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be?
