Dlink Airplus card with acx100/acx111 chipset only

hi everyone ,
after many rounds of tussle with my dlink630 airplus card on FC3 ,finally i cud bring it up and working using the link given below.

Here's re specifically the TI acx100/111 chipset working with any Linux:
http://www.houseofcraig.net/acx100_howto.php

Here's what i did .. i threw out ndiswrapper and followed the installation procedure for acx111 chipset from the above link ... everything went fine and it WORKED !!!!

im not saying that ndiswrapper wont work but just that it didnt work for me..i know it did work for lot of people in the groups. i guess this is just another way to do it.

sometimes u think "why didnt i think of it earlier ! "...well for everything there is a time i suppose:))

In pretty much every case it is preferrable to use a native linux driver over ndiswrapper. Ndiswrapper is a fallback solution when the card manufacturer is too stupid, thick, obtuse, boneheaded or just flat out idiotic to write a linux driver.
