Dell Inspiron 2200 - Wireless adapter won't turn on?
I'm brand new to this Linux thing and can't get my laptop connected to the internet. I went through the troubleshooting thing it tells you to do in Terminal and it says it recognizes my card but that it's "DISABLED". It tells me to turn it on, which I should be able to do by pressing Fn+F2, but that key combination isn't doing anything. Fn+ other keys works (for screen brightness, volume, etc) so I don't understand why it won't respond. Is there any other way to turn the adapter on? What am I supposed to do here?
Edit: Oh, and this is the newest version of Ubuntu btw, on a Dell Inspiron 2200 series laptop. I completely deleted my Windows partition for the ubuntu install. |
