To start off with, there's all the information I can think to provide. I somehow managed to get my card to actually connect to my network through some terminal commands, but I cannot access the Internet. I'm using wicd and it acts like it's connected when I boot my system, but again: no Internet access. Disconnecting and attempting to reconnect via wicd will give me the error message "Connection Failed: Unable to find IP address." I've compiled and installed the RaLink Linux drivers provided by the company which is what's allowed me to be able to scan for networks, but I can't connect.

I'm also not sure what the arrows in the dmesg output mean. I'm not new to using Linux, but I'm new to cards as stubborn as this one.

Here's some more information if it could be useful:

Scratch that, I've solved it. Whenever I built the RaLink modules, two directories were created in /etc/Wireless: RT2860STA and RT3090STA. Both had a .dat file inside with the same name. The fix was as simple as copying the information from RT2860STA.dat to the RT3090STA.dat file (which was... empty for some resaon). A simple reboot and it's working like a charm.
