Question crazy wireless with pavilion hp and madriva

i have a laptop with mandriva wich connects to other pc sharing internet connection via wireless ad-hoc mode

the problem is that mandriva does connect to wireless when i configure it be it with iwconfig or with the assistant in X11

when i do a ifconfig it says that it has ip 192.168.0.69 via DHCP, so it suppossedly has good connectio and ip and should go to internet, but when i do an ip scan from host pc (in windows xp pro) it detects only its ip 192.168.0.1 and broadcast ip 192.168.0.255.

what is the problem? dhcp works well and assigns a good ip when i do ifup eth2 and the estatus bar says it is connected, but i dont have nor internet nor shared resources with samba nor ssh

please a bit a help would be very welcome
