Connecting to wireless network?

Hi friends, I have an SMC PC card with the software that it brings it connects easily to an access point or wireless router. Now, the problem is when I use windows Me I could connect easily but how do I do this with my RH8, do I need any updates?? Probably this question has been asked, but I'm kind of new to wireless and I'm not able to set up my pc card in RH8. RH8 detects the card but I don't know how to connect.

Please help...!

Installing driver?

Thanks friend, one more thing, do you install this driver the same way you would in windows? Are there any special steps I need to take?

Thanks again

It is a lot more involved than a windows driver install.

You will have to put the file onto a floppy, then read from the floppy after you have booted to linux.

mount /dev/fd0
cd /mnt/floppy
cp the file to some directory on your hard drive.
gunzip the file
tar -xvf the file
follow the README instructions.

You will have to learn a lot of linux just to install and configure the driver no matter what driver you use.
