hi everyone,

im sorry if this question has no relevance in here or what so ever,

my question is if would be able to conncet to the internet through my wireless network and have others that are on my lan connect to the internet through me to the wireless connection? I'm using windows XP professional where the wireless connection is on and Linux ubuntu on a computer on the lan but doesn't have a wireless card thats why i want it to connect to my lan connection and connect from there to the internet on my computer, is there any way to do that?

thanx in advance

Yes, it is possible.

There's prob'ly an internet sharing wizard to run on Windows.

Then, you would have to setup your Linux computer to use your Windows computer as the gateway.

If computer A is acting as the gateway to the internet for computer B, B sends all internet requests to A, and A forwards them on to the internet. It doesn't really matter what types of network connections the computers are using since they all use the same protocols.
