Configuring a Intel Pro Wireless 2100

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook S6120 Notebook with Centrino. So it comes with an Intel Pro Wireless 2100 802.11b. I've used Ndiswrapper to install the drivers and the system recognizes the card. However, I'm still unable to get the right settings to get it to actually connect to the wireless internet service provided at my school. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated! Thanks!

okay, does the card show up in iwconfig? i used the intel drivers for the centrino card and it works great, heres iwconfig eth0 on my box (i stared out my ssid and wep key):

root@anotherThinkpad:/home/another2# iwconfig eth0
eth0 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"*********" Nickname:"ipw2100"
Mode:Managed Channel:6 Access Point: 00:06:25:76:E6:ED
Bit Rate=11Mb/s Tx-Power=0 dBm
Retryn RTS thr=2304 B Fragment thrff
Encryption key:******** Security mode:restricted
Power Managementff
Link Quality:100/100 Signal level:-48 dBm Noise level:-98 dBm
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

after you use iwconfig to set it up, pull a dhcp lease, i use pump so it was pump -i eth0

Hey thanks, but I already got it to work. Apparently the "hotspot" where I was originally trying to connect to wasn't a true hotspot. I tried in a different location and was able to get the wireless up and running.
