Hello,

I am running RHEL WS 4 on my dell inspiron 600m. I have dual boot system with windows xp. I cannot configure my wireless card to access the internet in RHEL. I chked the network device control.

In the hardware settings it does show me Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200 BG
Type ethernet
Device eth1

For the device eth1 it shows inactive. If I activate it it gives me the following error

Cannot activate network device eth1.

e1000 device eth1 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization.

These are the details of my system:
Inspiron 600m, Intel Pentium M Processor 725( 1.60GHz,400MHz)
14.1-in XGA, w/ 64MB Video
512MB,DDR,266MHz 1 Dimm, Inspiron 4200
60GB Ultra ATA Hard Drive for Inspiron 600m
8x CD/DVD Burner (DVD+RW,+/-R) for Inspiron 600m
Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 (802.11b/g) Internal Wireless

I have the following kernels installed on my system.
kernel-2.6.9-22.EL
kernel-2.6.9-22.0.2.EL

Please advise/guide me how can I resolve the issue and configure the network settings.
