cNetworkManager alternative for commandline WPA?
cnetworkmanager is crashing for me with some script output.
wpa_cli has some other problem I forget. wpa_supplicant using /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf seems to be a nightmare too. Yet I need commandline as this is a server. Is there not a commandline thing to help me connect to WiFi? I've bought an old router that I've put into repeater mode with DD-WRT to get around the problem but really... I'd love to be able to connect more easily! Is there a program out there I've missed? Please don't say "try X or Y with wpa_supplicant" because I'm at the end of my tether! edit to avoid bump: Thanks craigevil! Where's the "massive thanks" button?! |
