cisco aironet 350 firmware

ok im trying to install my aironet 350 nic on slackware 9.1.
now, the airo driver finds the nic, and puts it on eth0. it seems i need to downgrade the firmware though as it tells me the current one isnt compatible.

question is: how do i use the firmware .exe file? where do i put it?

oh and heres a bonus question: when my 350 card is associated with eth0 i can no longer use the card that was eth0 before i loaded the 350.
