Choosing Access-Point from mac address ?


Hi on my school i we have a wep encryptet wireless network with the essid 314489 i have a problem.
We have like 10 access-points or so with the same essid, my gentoo cant seem to choose whitch ONE TO connect to. I have a network at home to [1] but its unrelavent to this post.

My config looks like this.


config_wlan0=( "dhcp" )

modules=( "iwconfig" )

key_314489=( "[2] s:14489 key [2] enc open" )

You can issue 'iwconfig interface ap cell identity' to ask for a specific AP; see 'man iwconfig' for more info.
