Cant get WAN side ip......

yestersday i installed the new stable release of debian sarge 3.1r0

i downloaded the ipw2100 driver from sourceforge and make && make install it in kernel 2.6.8, everything was right.

when i type iwcofig, the screen showed:

eth2 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"000740A7F8AC" Nickname:"ipw2100"

Buy i cant browse the internet.........whats wrong?

Seems than i find the problem....but i dont know how to resolve it...

when i fire up ifconfig....

the line...


seems that it is ipV6 adress......(but i have done nothing......)

how to turn it back to

inet: 192.168.XX.X ????
