Cannot configure wireless network in Mandrake 10.2

Hi,

I made a dual boot in my computer with Windows XP and Mandrake 10.2
The wireless adapter that my computer has (Dell 1450 Wireless USB adapter)
works on the Windows side, but not on the Linux side.
I used ndiswrapper to download and install the driver for this and get the message that the driver dellnic is loaded and the hardware is present. And yet
when I try to modprobe, I get the message:
FATAL module ndiswrapper does not exist (or something like that).

The hardware is not associated with the module.

Please help!

I had my own share of troubles with ndiswrapper. Did you solve the problem yet? If not, can you post the exact error message by copying and pasting from the console.

i used the mandriva le2005
and used the zyair b-200 and i conect to internet i follow all instruction for mandriva tutorial and works , and not try to used the console too much for screwup all typing command line for digger for the hardware , even to digger to driver , i mean i dont touch the any part the system only follow the instruction and that is all, i guest works no problem , live forever mandriva you solved the problem to the other not yet.
