Cannot configure my RHEL5 for EUB-362 EXT. !
 

Hi.
I am on a RHEL_5, trying to configure it for connecting 'EUB-362 EXT' wireless-adapter.
I have downloaded and installed the driver given in the corresponding website for that particular adapter, after resolving the dependencies manually.
But still I see no options for making an internet connection.

Can anyone please help me with this. i'm really stuck here.

You said in a previous post you were using CentOS 7, then decided to move to Fedora 20. Now, you're using RHEL5? Some very obvious things:

• RHEL 5 is NO LONGER SUPPORTED...AT ALL, the latest is 7.
• Unless you PAY FOR RHEL, you really SHOULD NOT use it...you were told this in previous threads. If you don't pay, you WILL NOT get patches/updates/security fixes, and will very quickly wind up with an outdated/insecure/unstable system.
• RHEL and/or CentOS are NOT good choices for a home system. The are STILL designed for servers, which do not have wifi, bluetooth, sound, and other such devices. Support for devices like that is spotty, and may take some doing to even get them to work.
• You don't tell us where you downloaded this driver from, or what instructions you followed.
• And if you resolved dependencies manually, this is a VERY BAD IDEA. Again, pay for RHEL, and you install things via yum. Shoving in packages from third-party sources is (as you were told before), a great way to make your system unstable.
• You don't tell us what desktop environment you're using, give us any details from your system logs or dmesg, indicating what's going on, or really give us any useful information which would help us solve your problem. Without details we can't help

Again, you said you went to Fedora 20. That is a good choice for consumer hardware, and unless you absolutely NEED RHEL/CentOS, there is NO REASON to use it. Fedora is fairly close to RHEL, and if all you're doing is learning, it's a good choice.
