You're going to have to do some digging into what drivers people use in Linux for your particular make and model of USB wireless thingy. All linux distros work pretty much the same with wireless so pick a distro for other reasons than wireless (although be aware that Fedora and ndiswrapper are a bad mix) and get wireless to work once you've picked a distro. Particularly with USB based wireless, it almost certainly isn't going to work from the get-go since DLink doesn't write a linux driver.
