Can linux/Samba and wireless connected XP laptops share files and print?

Howdy Folks,

Before I start poking around to determine HOW to do it, I would like to know if I should even bother....if it's possible .......I'll figure it out if it is. ;)

Situation: I have a linux box with FC4, connected to my router via ethernet, one xp box using wireless to same router, and three xp laptops also wireless.Currently IPs are assigned dynamically (I think).

Question: Can I set up Samba to allow the wireless XP laptops and box to share the one printer I have? Is file sharing possible between all of them or just with the Linux box? Does everything have to be ethernet or will wireless work?

Yeah I know .....lots of questions....but hey....I'm a newbie! That's my job!

Thanks

tcpip

tcp/ip is a universal program. If you can get the wireless working you can get the rest to work.
