Ok, I solved my problem... long story short... use the latest cvs version of the rt73 drivers...
Anyway... if your interested in the problem... read on..
Hi there...
Basically, I am running Deb 2.6.22.7, w/ a Belkin USB 802.11g wireless key (F5D7050). I'm trying to connect to my USR router (USR8054).
Belkin appears to be recognized and latest driver (RT73) was downloaded, compiled and loaded. LED on adapter blinks occasionally... I can ping the adapter locally. I cannot ping my router. I tried both static & DHCP. Data appears to transmit & receive (see TX & RX below)
If anyone could help or offer a suggestion or two... I'd appreciate it. thanks. Below are some outputs to help diagnose... (hopefully)
PS: There is an Ethernet connection onboard that I am currently using...
