Backtrack 5 and Connecting To internet by Wireless

Hi guys.
I've a problem with connecting to internet by wireless in Backtrack.
I've install Backtrack on my PC and Laptop.
I can connect to internet by Wireless in my PC but when I want to Connect by my Laptop , it says u don't have permission to do that. I tested Root account to see if I could connect in Root. but nothing changed.
please tell me where is the problem !

Thanks.

Can you answer why you use BackTrack instead of suitable desktop distro like Mint, Ubuntu, Fedora, Fusion, Debian, PCLinuxOS..? Also these distros have more chance to get wireless going on first try. You may think this reply doesn't help you but in reality it helps because you will move to more suitable distribution for your needs that will cause less pain using it.

Hi Friend.
in fact I don't use backtrack . me myself using Open-suse 11.4 .
one of my friends wanted me asking this Question because he is using Backtrack 5, and it's his problem and I wanted to ask this question to increase my knowledge about Linux Distributes.

thanks.
