BackTrack 3 and Edimax EW-7317UG. Wireless not detected.

I am using a card that says is supported and works with Backtrack 3 according to their site.

I typed in iwconfig and it displays the following.

lo no wireless extensions.

eth0 no wireless extensions.

It doesnt show my usb dongle card at all.

any idea why this would be? It works just fine in Windows XP and Vista.

I am stumped.

I actually was able to run a lsusb and figure out which device was the usb wireless card and enabled it and get it working.
