B43 Broadcom 4311 Low Signal Strength

I've finally got my 4311 wireless card working using the B43 driver, however there is a problem. The system is incapable of locking onto hubs with a signal strength less than 60 and anything less than 65 will randomly show using;

iwlist wlan0 scan

Where-as if I use Windows I get stronger, reliable signals and can access many more hubs on lower strength.

Is there anyway to control the properties of the card like you can in Windows Ctl Panel. I'm thinking about signal strength etc.

Cheers,
Andrew

If you are using the open-source driver, then it is normal that loss of performance. I recommend using the Windows driver, with ndiswrapper. It is very easy to configure, and you will get the same performance as in Windows.

Cheers.
