Atheros Help please

Im very new to linux, but great with xp. (Im just now trying to switch)

Anyways Im trying to install my airlink awlc4030 which I believe is Atheros.

The only problem is Im so lost.

Ive been reading several things and trying them, such as madwifi and ndiswrapper, but the problem is Im so linux illiterate I cant even follow other's tutorials.

I really need help, if someone could walk me through this, Id really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Davis

Can't really help with Suse or madwifi. I can assure you that Madwifi has the drivers you need ... your card is supported, and the best docs can probably be found here: http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs

This set of instructions is really good:

http://madwifi.org/wiki/UserDocs/FirstTimeHowTo

My advice is to follow it to the letter. Don't take any shortcuts or cut corners.

There are a million ways of achieving the same result in Linux, so reading instructions from multiple sources can cause extreme confusion.

I love you...

Thanks. I'm flattered, but I'm already married. Sorry.
