I have an Acer 5315($315
) with the same chipset, and followed the instructins in bytor's post on page one, and it worked perfectly.
Just make sure you remove and purge any current ndiswrapper install. Then compile the new one, and install the driver(follow "INSTRUCTIONS" in the documentation). I messed around w/ the version in the repos for a while, before reading that apparently you need the newest version to get it to work properly with this new chipset. I also tried madwifi, and several other things, which wonked it up even more. So I did a clean install, and now its working perfectly.
I can see several networks in my neighborhood, login, etc.
