Unhappy Aironet 340 problems on Fedora Core 1

Hi all,

I know this is going to sound n00bish. I am running Fedora Core 1 with a 2.4 kernel. The card i am using is a Cisco Aironet 340 series. The card comes up seems to run fine, but it won't associate with my access pont . It won't ping any of the other stations on the network. Iwconfig shows Access point: FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF. I am at a loss. Any help?

I finally figured out how to get it to work. U have to force the WAP's MAC address to the card. I used iwconfig ethX ap XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, where X is ur wifi device's number. XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX is ur WAP's MACaddress. Thanks to some help posted in the LinuxForum's. Hope this helps out other's with the same headache.
PEACE
John
