Post airodump-ng not picking up networks


ok, i have my wireless card working and internet working, but when i try to run airodump-ng it will search and search about 20mins later i get nothing, and i know for a fact there is netowrks around because on windows i get 6 plus my own!!

anyone got ideas thanks

Hmm...have you run airmon-ng to put the card into monitor mode??

I have the same problem, and YES I have put my adapter into monitor mode. I'm using a TP-Link wn321g v4 usb wireless adapter. It works fine in Ubuntu, and finds all the networks. In airodump it just goes on and on, but finds nothing.

Question how about not solved

I have the same problem I have been searching the net all day.I have linuxonandroid
And I have backtrack5 installed.I am beginning to wonder if it is even possible on a
Nexus7?Does anyone have a clue as to why airodump-ng shows nothing?
