802.11g Wireless Desktop network card (F5D7000)


Hello,

I have a 802.11g Wireless Desktop network card (F5D7000) and i am not sure how to get it to work, if someone could help me that would be great

DELETE THE OTHER TOPIC IN THE other NETWORK SECTION MODERATOR

Your card should work with ndiswrapper, I'm not sure if any other projects support it, probably not.

In the How to on that link it says:

Go to source-directory

is that the terminal?

The source directory in this case is the ndiswrapper directory. You access it through a terminal program.
As root, and after you have extracted the ndiswrapper tarball, do
# cd ndiswrapper-version
(the version should be 1.1 for the latest stable release)
This will put you in the source directory
