3COM 3CRWE154G72 version 2 and ndiswrapper


Has some one got this card working with linux ndiswrapper? Please notice that it is the version 2 of the card.

Well, download ndiswrapper and try it. If you follow the install instructions. Then do ndiswrapper -i correctly, and ndiswrapper -l does not show that your card is "Present" Then its not going to work and there was no point in asking!

You should try ndiswrapper for setting up wireless lan (works in Fedora) :

http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net


If you have "apt" setup on your system then :

$ apt-cache search ndiswrapper

will show you all that you can install using "apt-get"

Make sure that the ndiswrapper module version that you install matches your linux kernel version (you can find this using "uname -r" ).
