Web KVM Management?
 

I have been pouring over this list here. http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Management_Tools

Many seem extremely complicated and or untrustworthy (expired certs and such when trying to goto the website). Looking to replace virt-manager and have access from my tablet and or windows devices if needed. Would love suggestions on what is worth using / safe to try.

Server is Debian Wheezy at the moment. Considering changing to Ubuntu 1404 Server though. The Foreman seemed promising but major overkill for my needs, couldn't figure out how to actually create a vm with it.

Foreman is an extension of Puppet and Cobbler, especially well built to deal with oVirt/RHEV environments.

If you describe your needs better, there might be an answer, right now, I can recommend you take a look at oVirt or RHEV for a production deployment (stable.well tested, packed with features), or proxmox for something basic

Very basic. I have a small file server / kvm host which runs a minecraft server and a testing web server. Have more room but no ideas of what else to virtualize. I debated just writing myself a few bash scripts to get stuff figured out but I'm lazy and got used to virt-manager

For my windows 7 workstation, I installed cygwin and XWin Server, and can use X-forwarding over a putty connection to run virt-manager gui on the windows machine.

I believe WebVirtMgr will meet your requirements, Its a libvirt-based Web interface to manage kvm virtual machines and support almost all basic vm lifecycle tasks, You can download it from here https://github.com/retspen/webvirtmgr

If need more feature-rich alternative, look for Kimchi Project (https://github.com/kimchi-project/kimchi). JFY, IBM has started contributing on this projects. (https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/c...m_menu?lang=en)
