vmware esxi benefits


dear all

i have install directly vmware hypervisor esxi 4.0 version.

can someone explore and put highlight the benefit of esxi vmware.i have installed on simple hp 64 bits and configure ip. it shows a single grey/yellow mix screen this looks like it is console nothing else

i cant install add remove anything out of this.

did you down VSphere Client?

i download esxi version 4.0 which is boot able cd

On the DCUI (the black & yellow console) it should tell you the IP address of the ESXi you have installed, if you don't know it already.

Point a web browser at the ESXi server. You will get a web page. There will be a link to download the VI Client. Download and install, then connect to the ESXi with it. This will let you manage the ESXi.
