VirtualBox + KVM + Intel virtualization? How?

Host: Karmic; Guest: Win7; CPU : T2300 with Intel-V
I had VirtualBox running Guest OSes fine until I realized my cpu has VMM. So I turned the flag on in BIOS.
After that VirtualBox refuses to start VM until I stop KVM manually (message "Can't operate in VMX root mode. Disable KVM exten......"). So I have a few questions.
- Why don't VB start untill KVM is stopped? Is it because KVM acquires CPU first and wont let VirtualBox have it? If this is the case, is it possible to make VB get there earlier than KVM?
- How to uninstall KVM? I tried rmmod, used synaptic but after reboot KVM is there.
- When installing Ubuntu, is Kernel dynamically built? I have this question because, I used the same CD to install Ubuntu on another machine with with no hardware VM support and I see that KVM is not module that's installed on that machine.

Apparently KVM is activated in init scripts. If you don't want it to start on boot then you'll need to modify the scripts.
