VirtualBox crashing vm's on purpse?

I run my mail server on a vm using VirtualBox. The server is running Slack13_64. I've noticed that whenever there is an update to vbox, my server starts crashing all of a sudden, until I update. Anyone else notice this? Here is what happened last time (syslog output):
Code:

This is using vbox puel, not ose.

This error appears to be related to ipv6. Are you using ipv6? If not,
I would disable and see if that makes the errors stop.

Also, please explain about the updates. You have a host and a guest.
Are you saying this happens when updates are available for the host
but not yet installed? Or do you mean after updating the host but
before updating the guest?

No, I'm not using ipv6. It looks like it's crashing IP in general as there are some ipv4 modules listed in there as well. As for the updates: I have a Slackware host running a Slackware guest. When there is a new version of VBox, my guest starts crashing, and it only happens when there is a new version.

Stack trace shows some where inside path lookup failed inside path_walk()

kernel version# would be helpful...

for my 2.6.25.5 in fs/namei.c
Quote:

static int path_walk(const char *name, struct nameidata *nd)
{
current->total_link_count = 0;
return link_path_walk(name, nd);
}
and

Quote:

static int do_path_lookup(int dfd, const char *name,
unsigned int flags, struct nameidata *nd)
{
...

retval = path_walk(name, nd);

...
}

May be somehow current became null ?
Report it to VBox forum for more help.
