RedHat Cluster Suite over ethernet card.

Hi,

I want to install Redhat cluster suite for Apache service on testing purpose. I installed two CentOS 5.4 on vmware workstation.
Set local repository and two lan card on both server.
for installation i used cmd " yum groupinstall clustering " . all packages installed successfully.

Now can any one help to configure in howto style and is it possible to do fencing over Ethernet ?

Hello,

Yes we can help. I for example can point you to one of the many Howto guides found on the internet for your environment. It's right HERE. Don't ask LQ users to provide howto or step by step guides. You should put in a lot of work of your own if you want to learn and understand what you want to obtain. If you encounter problems or questions following one of the guides found on the internet (for example the one I pointed you to), then you turn to LQ for help, clarification and solutions/answers. We're all here on our free time helping out Linux users with questions or problems, not to provide step by step guides that turn up in under 5 seconds when searching on Google.

Basically it comes down to this: What have you done / configured and where is it failing or where do you encounter problems.

Kind regards,

Eric

Hi,

Glad to hear that! Did you find what you needed to know in the guide I pointed you to? Remember, whatever question or problem you encounter when trying out things, don't hesitate to post them.

Kind regards,

Eric
