Problem with virt-manager

Hi all,

I had virt-manager working fine, I wanted to add the a network, chich mistakenly I shut down one of the networks(I think it was "lo"), and after that I could not open virt-manager. When ever I typed virt-manager in console, it did not open anything and did not return eny error. I uninstall and installed it again, but still I have the same problem.

How can I solve the problem?
Any help is highly appreciated.

lo is the system loopback device. Many applications use it as a virtual networking proxy for communication between processes.
If you stop it, those programs will not work properly (if at all). It is an essential part of any OS.

You could try "ifup lo" (as root). That probably brings it back up.
