My mint 17.2 is Crashing and freezing

I'll have to download it again, There's a couple of things I don't want to do over again , Is there a program that will tuck a few things inside it to make the reload easier. One is a complicated Brothers printer driver . my email addresses, my bookmarks and a few other things. Any thoughts.

Better to find the cause of the freezing and crashing, yes?

If you re-install fresh and manage to make the reload 'easier' and it still crashes and freezes,
you will have wasted time.

Do you have a separate /home partition?

in terminal
Code:
inxi -Fsx
and post the output using 'code tags' (see signature for how to)

Thank you.

Make adjustments to http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...8/#post5444613

And how is http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...8/#post5444627 NOT CLEAR?

You want help from me? Figure it out.

But oh well, Nvidia driver is loaded on your box so no Nouveau crashing causes.

Did you md5sum check your Mint iso before installing it? Might be a corrupted download maybe.

Bye Bye. Habitual is a friend of mine. You should apologize. Not nice barking like a dog at a extended helping hand. Since he is not the one all broke down in the back of the bus.

I will change to Nouveau , the actual drivers in the past have caused freezes, forgot about that. I thought using backup restores the problem that exist, in my case freezing. I have a backup on my cloud.
