mounting citrix xenserver vm partation


i have a citrix xenserv having 2 windows on it.
due to some reason i am not able to start the vm's. is there any way i can mount the volumes created by vm as guest od on base machin and get the data

i have tried mounting lvm but every time it says bad fs type
is ther a way i can found fs type on lvm or mount it locally and get the data.
