Management tools for Xen, KVM

Is it necessary to use ?

Can't I just use the "Virtual Machine Manager" in Cent OS or command-line ?

Is there some free management tools ?

Regards

Well you can certainly just run qemu-kvm command lines directly. You don't need virt-manager at all. However I don't really get the jist of your question. virt-manager is free, and does work pretty well...

I only ask, because I've seen elsewhere on this site, that somebody is using Virtualizor or SolusVM?

But that's not necessary i think...

virt-manager works fine, it's free, has a nice UI, and you can even monitor virtual machines across the network.

I know this is an old thread.... but still, it might bring some new discussions on different management options for Xen (and KVM + others).

Maybe have a look at this page : http://susestudio.com/a/YtQGNq/sles1...onvirt-xen-kvm

Also, I'm curious which other open source tools others have been using.

Cheers,
