lvm inside xen domU

I installed a new xen-domU in Debian Lenny on a separate volume group. Everything works well, but the xenguest appears to use on the inside just a regular partition.
I am wondering if it is possible to have lvm *inside* the domU, or is it something 'not done'?

I have a few dom-U instances running with lvm.
these were all set up from a kickstart script..

I'm under the impression that the tools for debian and those for centos are very different. Apparently there is no problem whatsoever for people who use centos.
It's probably possible with debian too, but I think I'll have to bypass the xen-tools (debian) and delve into it by hand..

Anyway, untill someone shows me the light, I'll trudge onward on my quest ;)

Thanks for your answer
