Linux Mint 18 in "Software Render Mode" running on virtual machine in Hyper-V.

Hi, I've been making some Linux virtual machines in Hyper-V on Windows 10. They seem to work fine apart from the fact that they are stuck in software render mode as they don't recognize the virtual hardware. Does anyone know of a display driver or some form of driver for Linux Mint 18 that allows it to run normally as a virtual machine. The mouse is quite laggy in software render mode.

Cheers

You can try Xorg vesa driver. Just don't expect any hi-res with that.

... I wonder whether any VirtualBox ideas might be relevant (in any way...Idk...)
