KVM with Ubuntu guest - guest crashes when some apps are 'full screened'

Hello,

This happens with a few apps. in an Ubuntu guest (running full screen) with a Debian host. Eg. Stellarium, or Banshee Media Player.

This setup seems to work just fine most of the time, but if apps have a 'fullscreen mode' as opposed to maximising a window, and you select it, it kills the guest instantly.

I get the following on the host's console:

Code:

root@xen1:~# BUG: kvm_dirty_pages_log_change: invalid parameters 00000000f0000000-00000000f0ffffff
vmsvga_value_write: guest runs Linux.
vmsvga_value_write: guest runs Linux.

[1]+  Exit 1                  kvm -smp 2 -hda /dev/xen1/Natty -soundhw all -m 2G -vga vmware -full-screen -net nic -net tap -usbdevice tablet

Please ignore the machine's name 'xen1' - this really IS KVM!

Does any one have any ideas?

Many thanks for your time.

Best wishes, Tony Rogers.
