KVM administration through LibVirt from windows machine

Need assistance in using LibVirt API for communicating with hypervisor from windows.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the same we have downloaded the latest Libvirt API Source
from: ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/libvirt-0.9.0.tar.gz

We also downloaded the Win32 Virsh (experimental) from ftp://libvirt.org/libvirt/win32_expe...rt-0.8.8-0.exe for the same and installed in the windows machine.

Then we also tried to access the hypervisor from windows by giving the following command:

virsh -c qemu+tcp://172.23.0.60/system

but received the following error:
error: unable to connect to libvirtd at '172.23.0.60': Connection refused
error: failed to connect to the hypervisor

can you please let me know whether i am missing any settings in Client side or server side.

sounds like a firewall rule on the server initially.

Thanks for quick response.
But firewall is already disabled in Linux Server :(

If I understand correctly, you have 2 machines:
1) a linux server running some hypervisor and libvirt.
2) a windows machine with win32 virsh

Now, you want, from the windows machine, control the hypervisor running on the linux machine.

If this is correct, the command in the windows machine should be:
Code:

virsh -c qemu+tcp://ip_address_of_the_linux_machine/system
