Is OCFS2 on SAN installed and configured from Xen hypervisor?

I am creating a 2-node virtual cluster, running Xen 4.0 on each of the 2 nodes and storing virtual machines (Xen DomUs) in a SAN device formatted using OCFS2. The Xen is installed on top of Debian Squeeze.

In such a configuration, is the OCFS2 installed and configured from my Debian Squeeze Linux, or (as I suspect) from the Xen hypervisor?
In other words, does the Xen hypervisor offer features that duplicate those of Debian--aptitude/apt-get, Linux-style configuration with files under /etc, 'service' start and stop commands, and so forth?

Might have figured this one out. Debian squeeze includes a xen-enabled kernel, such that xend commands (xen create image, etc.) are already available from the command line.
