Installing Slack 13 on Oracle Virtual Box - fails to boot default kernel in DVD

Hello,
Attempting to install Slack 13.1 in VM using installation DVD. As expected, VM does open the boot dialog and responds to keystrokes until I type "boot huge.s" and hit Return. After that, nothing.
The VM is set to boot from DVD, then HD. I'm guessing that maybe the VM believes that once I hit Return the boot is complete, but I really don't know.
I'm new to virtualization and pretty raw with respect to Linux. Any help, even it it's just, "dude, you're screwed", is much appreciated...
Cheers,
st

Easier to download 13.1 and save it and do everything from VB.

Solved

Short answer is to create an iso file of the installation dvd and copy to the file in the host machine containing the guest machine virtual hd. More detail at the following link: http://bnetweb.org/how-to/install-sl...-on-virtualbox
