Importing VMs from Aqemu to Gnome Boxes

After upgrading from an Ubuntu fork based on 12.04 to 14.04, I am unable to start Aqemu, but Gnome Boxes works flawlessly.

Unfortunately, I am unable to access my pre-existing VMs by typing "qemu://localhost" into the URL box. They are still at home/.aqemu but libvirt only sees the VMs that were created on Boxes.

What I have been able to do is create a new VM, then C/P from .aqemu to .local/share/.gnome-boxes/images and then delete the VM created on Boxes and give its name to the old VM that was created on Aqemu.

I would love to have a faster way to migrate my VMs if anyone has any suggestions.
